This sea turtle took some time. I had to apply the layers of color to the shell and paint each individual splotch on his flippers. I loved how the browns and yellows mixed on the shell, and I gave him a small smile. I followed the tutorial in the book Watercolor for the Soul by Sharone Stevens.
