This past winter, my husband and I visited New Orleans. The architecture, lush surroundings, and fascinating history enchanted me. Walking down Chartres Street, I spied a little storefront with spectacular watercolor paintings of the French Quarter. I took some pictures for inspiration and tried my hand at recreating a few scenes she captured.
