This mountain scene challenged me to balance the light washes of color with the dark colors of the trees and lake. It’s difficult for me to conceptualize a scene with such unusual colors, so I follow tutorials and online classes to achieve this effect. Apologies for the photo quality; I’m away from my scanner.
